State material and finish requirements using the project specification. External exposure, water retention and inaccessible surfaces should be addressed by the responsible design and coating specification.

Fabrication drawings should carry revisions and approval status. If a clash or site condition requires a change, submit it through the project’s written review process. Do not resolve it with an informal adjustment that changes the approved route or structural detail.
